Infrared elements

Used extensively on thermoforming and vacuum forming machines, these elements can be easily zoned to provide uniform heating over large areas. They are robust and durableand have a long working life. Their sealed ceramic construction makes them particularly useful in moisture-laden and corrosive environments. Thanks to these qualities, they have many industrial process applications.

Bright, high-intensity lamps with a fast response time, these operate in the shortwave end of the infrared spectrum at high temperatures. They are commonly used in space-heating and catering equipment.

Medium Wave Or Quartz Cassette Elements

These elements have the advantages of having a faster heat response time and radiating to a wider spectrum of temperature and wavelength than ceramic elements, but they do not have the intensity and brightness of quartz halogen lamps. They are particularly useful when uniformity of heating is critical and zone heating is required. These properties make them suited to particular industrial applications and they are now being used more often in thermoforming machines
