Used extensively on thermoforming and vacuum forming machines, these elements can
be easily zoned to provide uniform heating over large areas. They are robust and
durable having a long life. There sealed ceramic construction make them particularly
useful in moisture laden and corrosive environments, they are therefore have many
applications in in industrial process applications.
MEDIUM WAVE QUARTZ CASSETTE
These elements have the advantage of having a faster heat response time and radiate
to a wider spectrum of temperature and wave length than ceramic elements, but they
do not have the same intensity and brightness of the quartz halogen lamps. They are
particularly useful when uniformity of heating is critical and zone heating is required.
These properties give them various advantages in Industrial applications and are
now being used more often in thermoforming machines
